Newt’s in, but GOP newcomer Tim Pawlenty takes tea. The former MN gov was the only top-tier White House hopeful to speak to the tea party convention last weekend, and he backed it up with this slick web video praising their cause (reminding me of Obama’s early well-edited ads calling for hope and change).

Ha the genius of Fox not even trying to pretend to have standards is how they can blow off such petty complaints. Others pretend while shattering standards just as much. Me thinks Fox more honest than competitors in this regard

  8. TheRealTruth says:

    Craig,
Please provide examples for your claim…Hannity and Co were pooping in their hands and demanded that both Matthews and Shultz leave the air IMMEDIATELY though there was just talk of them running for Senate.
You’re wrong about Fox’s genious. They do have standards, they model themselves after the classic heels of pro wrestling fame. They do what they want because they know they are competing with groups who obey the rules and that leaves them more room to operate as freely as they choose.

  9. xrepublican says:

Funny rumor. nude gingrich scared loopy lou dobbs out of the race by telling him, my guys are going to call your guys ‘Lou’s Tools’. It ‘s a delightful appelation when said in haste. In this case, haste makes waste.

For such courage and devotion to deceit in the effort to dicredit our nation’s police, our republican Congress should vote roger ailes, rupert murdoch, and alaweed ibn talil ibn saud medals of republican honor.

  11. mqw says:

Sorry to say’but the republicans don’t have a potential candidate that can beat an incumbent president with a billion dollars
Best they can do is take the senate and force pres Obama to run to the center

I agree. I’d like Obama to move farther left, also. That would indeed be the best thing that the Senate could do.

It’d be good if nudie and willard could eviscerate each other first, leaving the money trail open for the bachmanniac, lou ‘stools’ dobbs, the palinator, Potholes Aplenty, or sharron ‘exalted kleagle’ angle.

  19. xrepublican says:

So sorry for yours and your husbands troubles. I hope hope things get better soon. I do hope your husbands pain will lesson soon as well.

  21. xrepublican says:

    Craig,
That clip of old cutie Governor Timocracy ‘Potholes’ Aplenty certainly demonstrates his uncanny ability to get the laugh track machines up on it’s chair, shrieking for more.
Here in Minnesota, we know that Governor Aplenty was able to boost pothole production by 150 % over his predecessor Jessie ‘The Botch’ Venturine, all the while slashing money for public education, environmental remediation, and housing. What Governor Aplenty did for Minnesotans, he can do for the entire nation.
You’re gonna like how he looks, I gurantee it.

“The fact that the Obama administration finally let Sec. Solis speak out is novel, but unimpressive. She’s been nowhere in this fight. She has had no voice, no presence, because the Obama administration is giving her no power.
Can’t appear too partisan, too strong on a union issue, because some voter somewhere in some state that Pres. Obama needs for ‘12 might not like it.
The Obama political era is represented by weakness at the top of the national party, with national Republicans in such calamitous disarray that they can’t find anyone strong and palatable to the broad center to take Obama on. That’s his good fortune.
As unions and state Democratic politicians stand up beside workers in Wisconsin, the national parties have never been weaker, with the celebrity presidency of Barack Obama relegated to a footnote, out of choice, in a historic union fight that could impact Democrats for a long time”

“Rick Scott Competes With Scott Walker For Most Isolated GOP Governor”
WASHINGTON — The theatrics of Wisconsin’s ongoing budget protests have left the impression that there is no more isolated governor in the country than Scott Walker.
But down in Florida, Gov. Rick Scott’s steadfast opposition to a national high-speed rail project has put him squarely on an island, with federal, state and even local officials all petitioning him to change course.
The latest chapter in the saga came on Tuesday, when leading Republican and Democratic state Senators formally sued the governor in Florida Supreme Court in an attempt to salvage the high-speed rail plans. Just hours later, the Court announced Scott had until noon on Wednesday to respond in kind. His office responded to the lawsuit (not the Court) with a statement from the governor declaring that his “position remains unchanged.”

  25. TheRealTruth says:

    Craig,
while you can claim that MSNBC evening is of a liberal bent, the morning and daytime lineup has a Republican bent to it
Also consider that these partisans that you deride have no problem criticizing President Obama and they are consistent in their criticisms whereas Fox would shill for Republicans under any circumstances.
Plus, MSNBC reports stories and any of the anchors you deride will make corrections should they make a factual error…when has Fox apologized for an error? Even after John Stewart catches them in their daily lies, they never correct the record.
Perhaps your resentment towards being typecast as an anti Palin whore has clouded your perspective some?

  29. TheRealTruth says:

    What don’t you buy?
Provide one example of when Fox offered criticism of a Republican politician that wasn’t involved in a sex scandal? Hell, did they criticize anyone besides Mark Foley since he liked young boys?
You don’t buy it? fine, OFFER PROOF. You sound a lot like Meghan Kelly telling bold face lies and spinning them as truth because she says so. Don’t think you can get away with making a blanket statement based on your bias and resentment of a bad professional experience. You sound like a typical republican politician who says one thing then does another.

  32. xrepublican says:

I prefer Doyle and Keith to orally ‘n’ beg. I don’t remember the former 2 ever saying a good thing about a puguglican. Does this mean that the former 2 are not journalists ?
I cannot remember a time when o’rally or beg ever said a good thing about a Dem. Does this mean that orally and beg are not journalists ? I think that the set ‘journalists’ is defined by someting other than party preference.
In my book, Doyle is the journalist, and the other 3 are polemicists. Of the 3 polemicists, orally and beg have been repeatedly shown to be dishonest. Of the 2, beg has been forced to apologize repeatedly for his anti-bigotted lies, which he then proceeds to repeat.
orally’s punishment is that his wife prefers a small plastic tube contining a tiny electric motor to him. I wonder what beg’s punishment is.

  33. craigcrawford.myopenid.com says:
