NASA’s land rover, Curiosity, is set to land in a few hours on Mars, at 1:31 a.m. ET. If successfully landed, Curiosity will spend two years looking for, among other things, carbon compounds and signs of whether Mars is, or ever might have been, habitable.

I though Richard Branson, the Virgin Mobile dude, and Robert Bigelow, the new space entrepreneurs,were in charge of this thing…I guess I thought NASA was out of the game for now.
I used to follow the space shots and all that, but as an adult, never got into it.
