There are only 4 1/2 hours left in this campaign, the debates. Probably not enough time for Romney to adequately present all of his multiple personalities. Not even a PowerPoint slide could make sense of his mess.

    Woo hoo?

  2. Ignoble exChamp says:

So the real question becomes, why would the GOP hand the nomination to such a seemingly inept candidate? It also exhibits contempt for the average citizen by the ruling class that they would make at least one of the two viable options for the presidency utterly unpalatable.

  3. Ignoble exChamp says:

    Nope.

I yield my woohoo the Ignoble gentleman from the space above mine.

    PerhapsI can illuminate that mystery.

    1. willard seemed like the least objectionable candidate out of the dozen or so who through their helmets in the ring.

    2. The other bazillionaires who fund the club, don’t like the serfs any more than slick willie does, and so they think he’s normal and even attractive. Whereas we serfs are well aware of how he feels distain for us.

  6. xrepublican says:

Sorry, I was cut off by a fat old bald guy with bad manners and attitude.

    3. The bazillionaires who run the republican club think that taking ordinary people’s pensions and sending the jobs to redChina is good and successful business. Therefore, they believe that the serfs should celebrate willard and see him as their salvation from the welfare state.

I think nominating a loser was the object of the enterprise. they succeeded. whoever they is.

what does mitt care? he’s not spending his own money.

I’m voting for a mechanism this year.

  10. Bill Woerlee says:

So Romney falls on his sword by making an idiot of himself in the debates and Obama remains POTUS? The GOP money men will have captured many of the state legislatures as well as Capitol Hill, so things will remain as they are. Nowhere land.

  11. sturgeone says:

Dole, Gore, Kerry, McCain, and Romney have a lot in common.

  12. sturgeone says:

not to mention kemp, Lieberman, Edwards, Palin, and Ryan.

I think it was Kemp….it was one of those football guy senate types.

  13. sturgeone says:

during the debates romney oughta sigh a lot and roll his eyes…..i heard that stuff can be really effective.

XRepublican -- You do not see roaches near the hotels anymore. They spray Waikiki with a hell of a lot of pesticides. It is only when you walk onto the few remaining parks near the beaches that they come for you. Or pretty much anywhere outside of Waikiki at night.

RR -- Like I stated above, if you stayed in Waikiki you probably did not see them. Of course, Raid doesn’t work on roaches there. I have had to spray them put all my weight on the balls of my feet (while wearing shoes obviously) and try to smash them and still they can run away fine.

Speaking of cockroaches, I have a feeling these debates will be incredibly boring. Both of these candidates will dodge every question and even if the moderator were to nail them on a question (which I seriously doubt will happen), they would still scurry away.

    Tony,
Thanks for the ‘information packed’ email you sent me. I didn’t expect to get it so soon. I know you must be tired when you get home from work, and I really do appreciate you taking the time to explain it all to me.

It’ll take me a while to go through it all, to soak it up. When it comes to electronics, entertainment and the information age we’re in, I just can’t get enough.

As soon as you think you’re all set up, and ‘state of the art’ they come out with something better. I can’t keep up, but it’s fun trying.

    Bill,
I haven’t been around a lot lately, so I don’t know if you’re new or not. I’m not a political buff, but I think you made a good point in your comment. Thanks

“I think nominating a loser was the object of the enterprise. they succeeded. whoever they is.”

… and Sturge, your comments are funny while being right on at the same time.

I think we all have a pretty good idea who ‘they’ must be. Smile

CBob, I betcha you already linked this and I missed it.

In U.S., 2012 so far is hottest year on record

… weird, down our way it’s been a relatively mild summer (comparing to the last 20 years we’ve lived here). Don’t know what to expect this winter.

    nite.

Ann Romney’s Complaining in Interviews Reveals Team Romney Ineptitude
    by Taylor Marsh

On the way to Ann Romney “humanizing” Mitt Romney, the conventional political wisdom of what her most important role was for her husband, instead something stark and depressing has unfolded.

Ha, well so glad the deal didn’t happen. If it was a gap in the President’s leadership, well good.
